Handheld (handy) plunger corker for small batches of wine. Works well with solid corks (will not work with disc or compressed cork.)
Prior to use, always soften and sterilize the corks by soaking them over night in a Campden solution. Im emergence, corks may be softened by stirring for a few minutes in hot water (not boiling) but soaking over night is preferable.
Lift the plunger completely and put the cork in to the chamber through the aperture provided.
Stand the bottle on a solid base and hold the corker vertically on the neck of the bottle.
Depress the plunger firmly until the cork is completely driven into the neck of the bottle.
