Our own very special blend of spices packed up in 2 pre-measured packets. Just add to apple cider or wine and simmer to create delicious mulled spice hot beverages. You can also just simmer on the stove to make your whole house smell amazing!

You will also need:

1 750ml bottle cheap cabernet sauvignon

1 orange

1/4 cup maple syrup, or to taste (I like a little more...)

1 tablespoon brandy (suggested: plum or apricot brandy)
- small mesh bag or cheese cloth
- crock pot
Directions:

Toast spices from 1 packet + 3 cinnamon sticks (omit orange zest) in a skillet on high heat until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Remove from heat and transfer to a spice infuser bag (include orange zest but leave out cinnamon stick).

In a small saucepan, bring wine to a bare simmer, then transfer to a crock pot set on low heat. Add spices, juice of orange, and orange hull. Cover and steep on low heat.
- After 2 hours, taste wine and add maple syrup and brandy. Cover and steep for another 30 minutes to an hour before serving. I find the longer it can steep, the better!

- Cinnamon Sticks, Allspice, Cloves, Black Peppercorns,Sweet Orange Zest, Cardamom Pods and Star Anise.
