American Oak Cubes. Use 2 oz. in 5 gallons of wine for 10 weeks minimum. The cubes will give off oak flavor for 24+ weeks.
For beer, it is recommended to first soak the chips in bourbon for sanitation and/or flavor and then add to secondary for several weeks. 1 oz. per 5 gallons is a good place to start.
