French Oak Chips. Use 2 oz. in 5 gallons of wine for a mild oak flavor. Oak flavor is fully extracted in 4-5 weeks.
For beer, it is recommended to first soak the chips in bourbon for sanitation and/or flavor and then add to secondary for fast extraction.
