This class will cover the basics of how to brew beer at home using all grain recipes and techniques including an overview of the equipment, ingredients and process followed by a brewing a 5 gallon batch of beer! You will get hands on experience and be encouraged to ask questions along the way.
The class will use a 3 vessel system (mash tun, hot liquor tank and boil kettle) method for brewing a 5 gallon batch of beer at home using an all grain recipe.
During the class we will sample a variety of beer styles, smell a range of hops, taste malts and discuss recipe development to be able to create beers you love and are proud to share.
Oak Barrels own Gamiel Mendoza will teach this class based on his many years of home brewing experience.
Attendees have the option to purchase the all grain recipe brewing kit at check out. Kits will be available in the shop on the day of the class.
